2015 Audi Q3

If you’re in the market for an Audi in Arizona, you’ll be pleased to learn that Audi is introducing yet another model to the U.S. market. The 2015 Audi Q3 will be the smallest Audi SUV offered in the U.S.

The Q3 will be available with just one engine at launch: A 200-horsepower, turbocharged and direct-injected 2.0-liter four-cylinder twists out 207 pound-feet of torque. According to cars.com, the power is channeled through a six-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is the base configuration, but Audi’s ubiquitous all-wheel drive will be offered. Audi will make its Drive Select an option, which allows drivers to tweak steering, transmission, and throttle settings for a gentler or more vigorous driving feel.

A plentiful list of standard premium features will set the Q3 apart from the competition. Every Q3 will come with heated power seats; HID headlights; LED turn signals, running lights, and tail lamps; LED interior lighting; and a large panoramic sunroof. Various assistance systems and telematics features available include MMI navigation plus with Google Earth maps, in-car Wi-Fi, and Google Voice search, and Audi will also offer a higher-end Prestige package.

The list of options is also generous. Some highlights include Audi’s MMI navigation plus system with a 7.0-inch display, Audi connect WiFi, a Driver Assistance package with parking aids and a backup camera, a powered tailgate, and a Bose sound system with 14 speakers.

Safety features include available rear side airbags and a Driver Assistance package with parking aids and a backup camera, as well as blind-spot monitors.

Sales of the 2015 Audi Q3 begin in the fall, with pricing likely to lie in the $30k range. Official pricing and EPA-rated fuel economy will be announced closer to launch. Visit Chapman’s Audi of Tucson for the latest.
