Q7 e-tron

Audi has done it again. With the new Q7 e-tron, an SUV that gets 166 miles per gallon, Audi is taking electronic automotive technology to a whole new level. Plus they are making it accessible to the average Joe or Jane. The Q7 e-tron is a plug-in hybrid with room enough for the entire family and enough power to haul all their stuff, yet green enough to make environmentalists happy. Many Americans love SUVs, but are also concerned about the environment. The Q7 e-tron with its 166 miles per gallon and dramatically reduced greenhouse gasses coming out the tailpipe, allows them to put checks in three boxes. Roomy, powerful, and green.

The Q7 is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine and an electric motor. Together they yield 368 hp and 516 lb/ft. of torque. Mated with an eight-speed automatic gearbox and the innovative quattro four-wheel-drive system, they propel the Q7 to a top speed of 139 miles per hour and allow it to go from 0 to 60 in a respectable 6.0 seconds. Not bad for a hybrid SUV. The vehicle has a range of 35 miles using only the electric motor. Activate the diesel engine and the Q7 e-tron can go up to 876 miles before needing to be recharged or adding more diesel. If you want to see how great Audi makes its cars, check one out at Audi of Tucson.

The Audi Q7 needs to be plugged in to a standard home socket for 8 hours to fully recharge, but can be topped up in a few minutes while on the road. Still, at 166 miles per gallon, this vehicle can run for hours on a full tank and take its passengers on all but the longest trips without needing to be refueled. It also emits only 46 g per kilometer of CO2, lower than many other hybrids. That ought to keep the environmentalists happy. Although it doesn’t zoom off the starting blocks, it’s fast enough to easily keep up with in-town and highway traffic.

The Q7 is also very quiet. Its interior cocoon creates so much peace and quiet, the occupants can enjoy a moment of Zen. Add the optional air suspension and the e-tron practically turns into a stealth SUV even with the diesel engine running. It moves so noiselessly, pedestrians and other motorists may not hear it coming. So long hated noise pollution. Most people will be pleasantly surprised at how much fun they can have making their way silently over hill and dale and how efficiently it blocks out noise in the city.

You can choose from the Audi Drive Select settings, electric-only mode, or let the automobile choose the more efficient of its two power sources based on the conditions in which it finds itself. Plus the Q7 saves fuel by feeding waste heat into the air conditioning to warm up the vehicle quickly on cool mornings. Add Audi’s Virtual Cockpit, hill descent and stability control and you can take the Q7 off-road or anywhere else.

If you are a pedestrian, you know how unsafe the roads can be. This is true whether you live in a small town in the middle of nowhere or a large and well-established city. Until recently, most car manufacturers did not take much notice. However, times are changing, and companies like Audi are getting in the mix and making things better.

Maybe you are not convinced that pedestrians are fighting a battle every day out on the streets. But the truth is, in 2013, 4,735 pedestrians were killed by vehicles. Not only that, more than 66,000 were injured. Nearly 72 percent of pedestrian fatalities in 2013 occurred in the dark. Again, Audi hopes to lower that number and make things safer for pedestrians, and the company hopes to do that by introducing state-of-the-art technology. To see state-of-the-art tech, you can check out any Audi model at Audi of Tucson.

With Audi’s new matrix LED light campaign, the company hopes to shed some light on the problem of pedestrian safety. The manufacturer installed their extremely effective matrix LED lights on a billboard in Brussels, Belgium. The company did this to show off its technology to people who may not understand LED tech to the fullest. By installing the LED lights on the board, the beams could find pedestrians throughout the city and then share the light. You may wonder how this works, and it’s simply. The headlights simply work like spotlights, and they find pedestrians and shower them with plenty of light. By setting up this presentation, it showed potential victims how beneficial the headlights can be in real-world situations that occur every day. You would be surprised at how much tech and engineering is in every new Audi vehicle, and there is plenty of new Audi inventory to check out.

Obviously, whether you walk or drive to work, the focus of the campaign is a powerful one as everyone worries about pedestrian-related accidents. Audi has gone further than just providing a commercial or showing statistics; the company is playing on a common interest by showing people how their new LED lights work to make things safer for everyone. This should bode well for Audi as it is going to appeal to two types of buyers. The company will appeal to buyers who want to have the latest and greatest technology. The company will also appeal to anyone who wants to make the world a safer place, which should be everyone.

Again, the campaign will touch the individual in ways that he or she can’t ignore. When targeting the viewer with the light, the company will gain their attention and anyone else who is around. When looking at YouTube comments, one can see that most people have a favorable reaction to the idea. Of course, the Audi brand is a luxurious one, and it comes with a higher price tag, but most people who value safe roads and love technology are going to love the campaign.

When looking at car safety, Audi is on top of that, even when we are talking about the safety of pedestrians, and this should cause any potential car buyer to take a second look at Audi.

Audi A4 Sedan

Audi has changed the iconic A4. The new 2016 Audi A4 is bigger, lighter, and more technologically advanced than ever before. Although this fifth generation of the A4 sticks to the classic A4 design, all the panels have modified and it uses a new version of the chassis that’s shaved off 264 pounds. The result is the 2016 Audi A4 now leads its class when it comes to aerodynamics because this gorgeous car has a drag coefficient that’s a miniscule 0.23. Yet it’s retained the racing soul, the power, and the striking look for which Audi is famous.

The cabin of the 2016 Audi A4 has been completely redesigned and for a more modernized, upscale look. Plus it has all the latest technology. It starts with Audi’s incredible new Virtual Cockpit which employs a large LCD screen with virtual gauges, navigation, and more. Audi has also repositioned the A4’s infotainment controls to closer proximity to the center console. This provides easy access when the driver’s hand is on the gearshift. Plus the new A4 features LTE connectivity, touch capability, and Audi’s latest iteration of its MMI interface. While it’s great to read about the MMI interface and all that the A4 offers, you should check one out in-person at Audi of Tucson. That way, you will see how great the A4 is.

Not only has Audi engineers revised the platform used on the new 2016 Audi A4 and reduced its overall weight by hundreds of pounds, they’re also offering a choice of engine types. The new A4 is available with three different gasoline engines and four diesel engines. All are available with either four or six cylinders that produce between 148 and 268 horsepower. The new innovative A4 offers both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive models. Models with two-wheel drive come equipped with a dual-clutch transmission. Options include 6-speed manual and 8-speed automatic transmissions and probably compressed natural gas or electricity powered hybrids.

With the release of the Audi A4, Audi continues to improve the iconic vehicle. Already stylish, powerful, and having ultralow CO2 emissions, the new lighter, more technologically advanced A4 has Traffic Jam Assist and its forward-looking cameras recognize lane lines and help the A4 to self-steer at under 40 miles per hour. Add turn assist, collision avoidance, and cross-traffic assist, and the A4 practically drives itself. And while Audi is touting the new A4s lighter weight, wind-cheating body, its amazing new combustion system also deserves some attention.

Experts say the new 2016 Audi A4 is more evolutionary than revolutionary. But an aerodynamic family sedan with Selective Catalytic Reduction, and AdBlue technology, that’s larger, customizable, and more powerful, yet uses less fuel, and can even drive itself is at least insurrectionary. Throw in a fully-digital 12.3-inch LCD screen, high-resolution graphics, high-end infotainment system, a smartphone interface which integrates Android and iOS mobile phones, an Audi tablet to entertain backseat riders, and color-adjustable ambient lighting, and the discussion about evolution versus revolution becomes background noise.

Is the new 2016 Audi A4 revolutionary? Schedule a test drive and decide for yourself.

For consumers considering the purchase of a new vehicle, it’s important to take a variety of factors into consideration. If you happen to live in a region that experiences winter snow, it’s also important to consider how well the vehicle you buy will be able to traverse winter conditions.

The best vehicles for handling driving in snow are those cars that are able to maximize traction regardless of how icy or slippery the road conditions might be. Furthermore, a vehicle designed for handling driving in snow will be able to do so no matter how deep the snow might begin to pile up.

Audi, a German automobile manufacturer has become well known for producing vehicles that are exceptional at handling driving in the snow. Global operations for the company are overseen from Audi headquarters located in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. In 1980, Audi introduced four-wheel drive technology in an Audi performance and rally racing vehicle. The turbo-charged coupe, the Audi Quattro, became the first large-scale German production vehicle to include permanent all-wheel drive via a center differential. The model eventually became tremendously successfully in rally racing. As a result of that vehicle, Audi became synonymous with automotive technology advances.

Today, the Audi TT is known as one of the best vehicles on the market for handling snow. One of the reasons that the Audi TT is able to handle winter snow driving so well is the fact that it features all-wheel drive. All-wheel drive provides the power necessary for all four wheels of the vehicle, which can assist in improving acceleration when there is ice, rain, or snow on the ground. If you want to see it handle a little more normal conditions, check an Audi at for yourself at Tucson Audi.

While at one time, it was considered difficult for sports cars to navigate winter conditions; however, thanks to Audi, that is no longer the case. By incorporating an all-wheel-drive system into what have become known as supercars, Audi has made it possible to enjoy the look and feel of a sporty ride while still taking advantage of excellent handling regardless of winter conditions. The key to this handling is all-wheel drive, which gives drivers more confidence and control in slippery conditions than in a rear-wheel-drive vehicle.

Audi also provides other features that assist in improved handling during winter conditions, including headlight washer/wipers. When ice, road salt, and snow accumulate on a vehicle’s headlights, it can cause their illumination to dim. Headlight washers and wipers can clear such blockage, ensuring that the lights provide illumination without any obstructions. This is a feature that is included on the Audi A4

Audi’s now legendary Quattro system has become standard on all of its models, ranging from the 211-hp, 4-cylinder base level vehicle all the way up to the latest model to roll off the line, the 340-hp TT RS. As a result, all Audi customers at every price point are able to enjoy incredible handling in icy winter conditions. Consumers are also able to choose from a beautiful coupe with the Audi TT or a sleek convertible option.

Recently, the Audi plant in Ingolstadt reached a significant milestone when the company celebrated the 20th anniversary of the first Audi A3 rolling off the assembly line. Since September 18, 1995, when that first model was introduced, Audi has produced more than 3.5 million A3 vehicles, a model that became wildly successful around the world. While the Audi A3 may be two decades old, it is still one of the most groundbreaking vehicles in terms of alternative drive systems.

When the Audi 3 made its debut in 1995, it set new standards within the compact class by delivering innovative sporty character, an optional quattro all-wheel drive system, and high-quality workmanship. Maximum flexibility in terms of body manufacturing and innovative production technologies have also become standard at the Ingolstadt production site where the Audi A3 is produced. At this site, Audi Group produces the A3 as well as the A3 Sportback e-tron, A3 Sportback, and A3 Sportback g-tron models. Today, the Audi A3 is one of the most important vehicles in the Audi lineup. No matter what style of Audi you want to check out, you have plenty of options at Tucson Audi.

At the same time, the Audi A3 has become a popular global choice as a compact vehicle. In addition to being produced at the Ingolstadt site, the Audi A3 is also manufactured at several other sites, having conquered some 100 sales markets on a global scale. Plans are already under way for the Audi A3 to be produced in Brazil in the future.

Audi Tackles the Electric Vehicle Market with New A3 Model

The Audi A3 has also made revolutionary achievements in terms of electric mobility, as the series represents production of the first hybrid model featuring a plug-in design. Demand for the Audi A3 Sportback 3-tron has proven to be particularly strong in the Netherlands. In China, consumers have been able to purchase this model since the summer. By the end of the year, consumers in the United States will also be able to purchase the Audi A3 Sportback. When you look for an Audi A3, you are going to be in luck as there is plenty of Audi A3 inventory to choose from.

Audi is also able to lay claim to another important achievement in the low-emissions category. The Audi A3 Sportback g-tron is actually the first natural-gas powered vehicle to be produced by Audi. This model is able to use e-gas or natural gas, giving consumers ample options.

At the time that the A3 was introduced, it featured one 3-door hatchback design. In the following 20 years, Audi has launched the A3 in four body styles with a number of engine options ranging from 1.2 to a 2.5-liter. When Audi introduced the A3 it also helped to start a trend of entry-level luxury vehicles that continues today.

Last year, the Audi A3/S3/RS3 became the 10th best-selling vehicle in Europe. As Audi celebrates a milestone 20th anniversary, the Audi A3 remains an incredibly popular vehicle around the world, providing consumers with the opportunity to enjoy a luxury-class vehicle at an affordable price with easy climate-protecting options.
